These pencils are by no means a “magic cure” for poor handwriting as they do not fit very small hands and the student needs to be supervised initially on correct fingerhand placement with this pencil to promote a tripod grasp ageappropriate and break poor grasp pattern e

Lastly when my pencils were overtwisted by students during therapy i was unable to get a reply from the company as to what a quick fix might be for the pencils or even a response to say that if the pencils are over twisted they would not be fixable overtwisting makes the lead no longer remain fixed in the barrel and it falls out when writing is attempted

Poor customer support was probably the most disappointing issue for me as i have recommended the twist n write pencil to many families during conferences and i do not want them to have similar issues
