Pros & Cons

Pros

My fingers are nearly always cold so i still need to wear a decent pair of gloves with the bar mitts. The gloves are thinner and more breathable and dexterous.

The only downside is that i had to fashion some rubber bands to hold the mitts taut on them. It's a little tighter than i'd like, but it works. The big advantage of the bar mitts is a velcro attachment strap inside for the end of your handlebar.

I live in the pacific nw. Our winters tend to be either 30 degrees and windy or 8 degrees and super windy. It gets wet and kinda cold. I ride my motorcycle year-round.

New to mountain biking in the winter. I ride every day early morn before sun is up to work. I commute on a e-bike, so that means i need to be prepared for all weather conditions.

Cons

It's cheap, unreliable and hooks itself onto many materials that it comes into contact with. For me, its bulky, colossal size consumes the handlebar! It looks like they didn't think about it much and churned out a quick * product.

I just removed the mirror from its stem and slid the bar mitt right over it then screwed the mirror back on

But it was cheerfully and quickly replaced with a set that was fine

At the very least for someone more sensitive fingers they’d let you ride with very thin gloves

At first though they looked goofy
