Awesome range clarity even with the little baby whip antenna
I use the radio mostly on my local repeater and i can hit it from 20 miles away with the stock antenna
Did not get the program software and manuel programming seems impossible with the very poorly worded instruction booklet
I replaced it with the expertpower xp669 c

Work great hit the repeaters 3 miles away use to do sign in to arrl when out of the shack can not beat it the price is right

This is a qaulity product and would totally recommend for anyone who is looking for a product like this
Usual battery life from the 1800mah batteries crap
2 you must first do a “download from radio” selection to get the “ basic” file to start loading your freqs
