The build quality is excellent and it puts out 8 watts of power which is double what my car cb radio puts out
4v and stays at that with the alternator running
This unit came with the radioddity antenna which i believe is a saisonic
With the right conditions im getting qsos from an astonishing distance
Price
Works a treat dont be put off by the cheap price dose everything it should with ease and can be programmed with chirp
He could not believe the price for a fairly powerful handheld
Packaging/appearance
It arrived quickly but it arrived with damaged packaging and wasnt fit to hand over as a gift
This one is a thin metal type that gets bent very easily unlike the rubber one on the uv5r

This was a radioddity purchase and it came with the baofeng 3800 mah battery as well as the standard 1800 mah

This radio suprised me in that it is senctive and as powerful as listed although fails on the design plugs dont fit correctly and it takes a little time to get used to charging cradle but that said it is still a great value buy it and see awkward at first baofeng should have stuck with there own designs

Has loads of memory slots you can store 100 channels into the memory making it also excellent just as a cheap pocket receiver have all the marine vhf channels the iss and a stack load of repeaters programmed into it

Great radio a step up from the uv5r but as with all the baofeng radios i have when fitting an uprated antenna nagoya na24j the front end becomes overloaded and it goes deaf depending where you are so dont expect miracles
