My only gripe with this radio and it may just be my unit is the quality control on the left hand buttons
This is more or less in line with the defect rate that ive experienced with baofeng radios of which ive now purchased about ten
Also it seems to perform better with the included antenna and to me the sound quality is improved over the 5r
I have no complaints about the sound quality although it will happily distort nearly to pieces at high volumes
