Stop right here, seriously, because this might be the holy grail for period panties. I’ll try to remember to update after a heavy-flow day (or I’ll take’em off - sigh - and pour something on them to test the capacity claim, but here’s what’s up:- They are SOFT. I mean. So soft. I can’t even handle it.- The design, meant for pregnant bellies, also serves to eliminate any risk of muffin top. I’m pretty skinny, but even so, most underwear that fits will dig in at least a bit, and if it doesn’t, that’s because it’s falling down. These hug ALL the right spots, clinging in the most satisfyingly sexy way I have ever seen in a pair of plain black panties, staying up just fine without indenting the skin in any unflattering way. It’s incredible.- The leak-proof area is enormous! My dudes! It goes from about the middle of the pubic mound all the way to the back side of the waistband! The absorbent layers seem to be about where your average maxi pad would rest, but having the extended leak-proof area is so fantastic - it’s well past time for a solid, affordable way to wear this kind of thing overnight.- Sooo quiettt. They make a very slight sound if you rub them but, unlike others I’ve bought, they don’t just announce themselves. You actually have to provoke them.- I feel genuinely good in them. Enough to post a photo that includes the hurricane of stretch marks my daughter left behind, lol. These are obviously going to be my go-to period undies because I feel like I can do ANYTHING right now. Already ordered three more. Some things to note: they smell funny coming out of the package. Washing fixed that and it was fine. The laundering instructions are a little annoying for someone who is too lazy to separate light/dark/normal/delicate (me), but for this level of amazing I will 100% do whatever it takes to maintain these. And finally, the brand is Bambody, but the site doesn’t even mention this style so it might be discontinued. I will cry if that’s the case because the world needs these.**The promised edit! TL;DR: some minor leakage along inner thighs.I have worn them on a couple of high-flow days now. The capacity is incredible. I work construction, so I’m on my feet all day and there’s limited access to a real bathroom - the ability to go all day without changing anything is important. However: there is a minor leakage issue. The sides of the crotch area are entirely absorbent (I don’t know exactly how to phrase that - basically the inner part and the outer part join at the seams in such a way that the blood keeps getting absorbed in the material along the outside of the edges because there’s no leak-proof edging), so toward the end of the day I was dealing with streaks on my inner thighs every time I pulled them up after using the bathroom. It wasn’t a huge deal because it’s currently cold enough to wear leggings under my pants, but I’m going to go looking for something to sew onto the edges pretty soon. It doesn’t leak anywhere else, so it’s definitely how it’s made and not about how full it is. It’s hard to tell for sure if there are any leakage issues at night because my sheets are black, but there haven’t been any wet spots so far no matter how much I’m gushing, so I don’t think so. Overall, I’m going to leave it at five stars, but the inner thigh leakage issue may affect others more than me. Read Less
