The elastic in the ankles is all stretched out and lets debris inside the sock.

The balega socks are more expensive, but worth all the pain and suffering.

Great sock for short hikes in temperate conditions but i swear by balega blister resists and stocked up.

***update: balega customer service reached out and sent 3 different replacement pairs of socks.

I have 35 pairs and woul not buy a different brand!
