True of these too but its not the fault of the recipes and theres even at least one recipe for apple fritter doughnuts that includes using the broiler to give the outside the crunch im missing

If youve ever ordered a cookbook on cakes youll find that the majority of the recipes use the same combination of flours sugars etc shocking i know
