My daughter fit that opening for arms fine all the way through but my son he was in 90 plus percentile all the way through and at times it seamed a little tight
This is a great sleep sack and it stretchy but that helps baby slowly transition from a tight swaddle such as swaddleme or miracle blanket to completely free hands
This should be closed with something different as the poppers dig into my sons arms when his arms are through them
The problem with most swaddles is that they age out at 3 months but some babies need more restriction as they get older
