Pros & Cons
Pros
This rack is a good option if you're trying to convert a racing bike to a commuter bike. Comes with a bracket you mount to the rack and the brake caliper, not shown in the stock photo.
The axiom streamliner road dlx feels really strong and was able to carry 40-50 lbs of groceries a few miles for me. It's compact and light yet hauls a grip of groceries just fine. Once installed it's quite sturdy, and holds up firmly when mounted corr... Read More
Axiom streamliner road dlx luggage rack review. Impressive quality, nifty design and a very good price. Silver looks pretty slick, but if you plan on adding a front rack, go with the black so its easier to find a match.
The narrow nature of the rack fits the aesthetics of a road bike better and keeps the pannier closer to the center of mass of the bike. Tire clearance is limited, but it’s nice how it follows the frame lines using a tapering profile &. You can very... Read More
The tubes are thicker than what the blackburn is using - these are 11m according to my ortlieb adapters, and blackburn is 8mm. It felt very secure attaching the rack via the supplied hardware. Remove the quick release skewer and place the skewer throu... Read More
Cons
The design is such that 2 screws on the top of the rack are pointed down toward the tire with a very low clearance btwn the tire and the rack. They rub on the sides of the tire. The extension piece can't be removed so that you can put the two posts di... Read More
If this rack has any weight the extensions will sag and leave the platform sitting on, and subsequently stopping, your rear tire.

Also you can absolutely not beat the price.

I used some metal washer so that the corner doesn’t touch my bike frame.

Makes it hard to put racks other stuff (child seat) on it.

Also the rack is pretty low on the top.

Like other reviewers, the bolt/nuts on top come within mm of the tire (700x25c) but enough clearance to work.

Had to add washers so the metal parts would rub on the drive side frame near the skewer.

Fits on my disc brake bike, but only because the rack mounts are higher up on this frame.

With a single bag, the rack moved 1cm to the side holding the bag, probably better to run even weight on both sides of this rack.

While i would prefer a chromoly rack, my cycle frame has track geometry & there simply isn’t enough wheelbase for a rear rack.
