Pros
Not overly bothered about real accuracy but something better than eyeballing with rule. The rod is over 50 years old so accuracy is important as it was probably originally imperial and any replacement will be metric.
Cons
Description of this item is totally incorrect. I know it was only cheap but it is inaccurate advertising. This is not made from stainless steel.

Exactly what says on the tin used feeler guages and they registered the right thickness of each one
