I found the quality of recordings made with this device to be very good certainly good enough for most purposes
Good capture card with good output quality at least as expected
For some reason audio wont be captured via this device but i believe it will be captured if i were recording with the elgato

Ive used many elgato capture cards and have ran into so many issues with them but this one gave me no trouble
I could not be more happy and could not recommend any avermedia product for your stream

Captures playstation4 video and audio in obs on my macbook pro at 720p although i may have to troubleshoot more to capture at 1080p as advertised

Its a great alternative to the elgato portable capture card and even has a few extra features that the elgato doesnt ie recording to a capture cardthere are a few quirks you should know before hand but regardless this is a great device1 installation is confusing
