Never a concern about phone not being charged.

Never again left out somewhere needing to make the important phone call or get troubled by the embarrassingly short battery life of your electronic devices.

My phone is always charged and i feel secure knowing i won't be left with a dead phone.

The avantek charges it to 100% more than twice.

But, cannot tell if it is charging from 0% battery on the nexus or from 40% where it shuts itself off.

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

One thing though, once the nexus shuts itself off and then connect the avantek, the avantek tries to charge it but turns itself off after a few seconds.

Therefore, cannot get to the point where the avantek starts up the dead nexus 10.

I guess there is some sort of circuitry in the avantek that won't let it operate unless it senses something is on on the other end.
