When buying a car, the stereo should be the last thing you should be concerned with.

Unfortunately this philosophy left me with a vehicle with no bluetooth and no auxiliary jack to plug in my phone or ipod.

My mazda5's stock stereo has a button for media, but nothing connected to it.

Online mazda forums will tell you how you can take the stereo out and take a trip to radioshack to make this same product for less than $5.

A simple plug in to the back of the stereo and then a decision as to where the hole should be drilled for the female jack (i chose to drill it on the face plate of the gear shifter because it would be low enough for cords to not be hanging in the way of the shifter or the stereo controls).

I saw this item on amazon for about $10 with no shipping fees.

The cable is sort of excessively long, and you will almost certainly need a ground loop isolator to reduce the hum from charging your device.
