I needed to sand the switch body knock down sharp corners to make it fit

Like others have said pliers pull the broken one right out and the new one has to be pushed gently in while rotating slightly think wiggling in a circular motion

Once it starts it goes in 90 of the way and i used the pliers on the bottom of the outer ring to push the other 9 in
