But 12” and thicker mats in my experience are way too flimsy and slippery for hot and even regular yoga so i’m not sure i can go much thicker safely

It slips hands and feet just a littlean expected amount especially at first but i didn’t want a fly trap

I considered getting a cheap basic mat but the ones that i used from the gym even with a towel on top were uncomfortable to kneel on
