The second light worked and it is amazingly bright recharges well the motion sensor is just right it doesnt engage from too close or too far away

One tip i had a little trouble changing modes until i learned to hold the button until the light flashed twice each time it flashes twice you have engaged a new mode there are three

That was my mistake but corrected by adding a small light on top post that turns on first until you go 1 12stairs to where the sensor will turn this light on
