Pros
This is an active mic, meaning it does noise cancelling. Works perfectly with my dslr and slightly outdated video camera. Don't bash it because you're using it wrong, or because you don't understand the technology.
Cons
There is no led indicator to know if it's on. The splitter feels like the cheapest piece of plastic i've ever held. Nothing special with this mic.

As such it requires more current than what comes from whatever you happen to plug it into additional power is also required in order to push the signal through the long cable

But dont bash it because youre using it wrong or because you dont understand the technology it uses thats what makes it more expensive not the brand
