If you plan on using a shock mount youll want to look at some of the shotgun mic ones since this is a hand held microphone the eggsnow one here on amazon as of this review works just fine for this microphone and is fairly cheap

I bought this after quarantine work from home policy and since i work from the garage there is high amount of background noise

But the proximity effect on dynamic mics really helps dampening the noise obviously it cant be removed 100

However the extremely bright blinding blue led light that is constantly on 247 even with the onoff switch turned to off is why im deducting 1 star
