    Drill a 1/16 inch hole through the bottom of the guide area, then force your line down through the slot till it pops into the hole you drilled.

    You could put a stop gear like the one on an air hose reel (3 clicks) to keep from unraveling.

    With one minor flaw that i honestly can't see how it could be fixed by the manufacturer - the cordage is superb, until you cut it and don't have a lighter or other flame source to melt down the excess so it doesn't fray (to be fair this is a problem for almost all paracord).
