Pros

Late 1930s era. Plaster walls and metal lathe in them. Metal lathe is what holds the plaster up. Most unexpected surprise.

Center vertical and the side angled out (tilted front or back is location dependent) rear of the antenna is the side with a smooth rectangular box. Your environment and/or positioning is different. Have patience and play with antenna positioning.

Cons

It reminds me of the capital one commercial lampooning the crazy, eastern european guy pretending to be peggy on their competitor's phone lines. It is worthless.

Saw some improvement with this over the stock antenna from my asus wireless ac router but not an order of magnitude that i was let to expect and after some research i realised its because a powerful antenna at the router must also have a powerful antenna at the computer so they can both hear each other
