If your isp provided a routermodem you may need to switch the asus router to accesspoint mode where it will just function as a wireless transmitter to get it to work

The asus app can be installed to a phone and you can then control everything from changing passwords channels inserting guess accounts etc just as you would do on a pc but it is much quicker via the app
