    There's no way to revert the change, so fair warning, and don't expect asus to offer a firmware download to solve this issue(their after-sales support seems pretty nonexistent).

    I have an asus xonar essence st sound card which pretty much got poor support from the c-media driver team to develop drivers for windows versions after windows xp.
