I really like this device, of which I bought multiple. It's very well made and intelligently designed, but its lumen is SUPER TIGHT on my mics (Audio-Technica and Sennheiser). I got 'em in, but was concerned that I was going to break the mount or the mic doing so. Once in, I find the mount to be effective, especially for the price.Perhaps a little lubrication, as others have mentioned, might have been useful. In fact, perhaps the manufacturer could include a tiny little tube of lube with each mount sold. I, for one, would have been willing to pay more in order to get some lube. Or, perhaps the manufacturer could enlarge the lumen of this mount oh so slightly. That would make users' lives much easier!The bottom line is that even though the mount is tight around the mics, you CAN get them in with care and the device will do its job nicely.
