Im going to recommend potential buyers to combine this purchase with a short extension cord one foot would be fine unless your primary purpose will be to plug it into a socket thats exactly at the level of a desk or nightstand

Its short cord would mean that an outlet 634 lower could prove a frustrating experience otherwise the downwardfacing plug would be a minus in that case

Here you get a tradeoff of no glaring blue light and a lighter weight versus no fourth outlet and a shorter cord

The buttons on the front and back have to do with locking the cord in place i believe but that seems a feature i cant see using myself

Theres no fuse or suppressor inside but 14 awg is a fairly strong cable that can handle a fair amount of input before selfdestructing
