Im going to recommend potential buyers to combine this purchase with a short extension cord one foot would be fine unless your primary purpose will be to plug it into a socket thats exactly at the level of a desk or nightstand

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Its short cord would mean that an outlet 634 lower could prove a frustrating experience otherwise the downwardfacing plug would be a minus in that case

Here you get a tradeoff of no glaring blue light and a lighter weight versus no fourth outlet and a shorter cord

The buttons on the front and back have to do with locking the cord in place i believe but that seems a feature i cant see using myself

Theres no fuse or suppressor inside but 14 awg is a fairly strong cable that can handle a fair amount of input before selfdestructing

Moreover the absence of internal electronics and 300 volt capacity implies that this one should work fine at 220 with dualvoltage chargers etc

That when we need to charge up we usually need to charge multiple things simultaneously
