It is lovely to look at, interesting to read, and for the artist who has not used a journal this is a must see book.

Instead of keeping a sketchbook (a series of pictures) the artists journal is the technique of using your skills to record events, almost like having a picture diary.

There are lots of pictures of other artist's work too, so it's not all about the author - there is something for everyone.
