Casey from comcast support here stateside is a steely eyed missile woman for getting the modem recognized in comcasts system and spending the time with the provision met to get the unit working with my phone number

When restarting or recycling the batteries have to be taken out then reinserted

System runs a little slower than with the mediacom supplied modem but dont know if this is what causes that or not

This product works great but what they dont tell you is you still have to have a separate telephone modem from time warner to use with it because apparently a large conglomerate like tw does not have the technology to program an individually owned modem for phone

The good news is the cable company does not charge you the monthly fee for just using it on your telephone

I called time warner customer support and asked them if i could by my own modem so i would not have to pay the monthly rental fee
