The sb1683 has no problems and it has been working well. Connected to my netgear nighthawk router r6350.

I hope this review saves someone time. Shady business.

Nighthawk wifi router stopped working after 88 days. Failed in 6 months; dropped connection to isp and would not reconnect. Reconfigured router but there was nothing to receive.

This is my 3rd arris surfboard product that has failed in the last 5 years. Arris refuses to send me a replacement for the replacement because they claim the problem is on my end. It is not one the puma modems, so i am not so sure what the problem is.... Read More

Even bought as new, there were obvious signs it was reused. Logs state that the modem is having trouble negotiating the communication. Modem company tech support says mine is out of warranty.

All in all the sb1683 is doing everything i was hoping it would coupled with the nest router and you save a good amount

It was of great quality and was shipped quickly and carefully

I purchased it and hooked it up to my cable and called comcast with the mac number from the modem

The product inside seemed new and still had the plastic wrapping etc but the box seal had been removed
