After a few years of heavy use (and abuse), the motor went out but i was able to send the base in for a motor replacement rather than having to buy a whole new diffuser.

It sits on top securely but it's not a precision fit so oil tends to collect in between the base of the stopper and the rim of the vessel and only slides back down the sides once the stopper is removed.

I would have given a full 5 stars if it wasn't for its noisy motor.

Especially on high mode, the motor buzz is unavoidable.

I had to replace a similar one recently after the motor broke (someone put water in it - ugh) and they no longer sold that brand.
