The cover is clear plastic and allows me to use my touch screen through it which is also very convenient.

However, if you are used to using an armband for your phone that won't bother you.

There are also four slits for earbud cords, chargers, etc to poke out of the main body of the phone.

It fits my samsung s7 edge fine and the screen is more sensitive with this armband than others i have had in the past.
