I would commonly see the cpu peak around 90c and watch the voltage drop along with my framerate until it would drop to 70c or so just to watch the damn cycle start again

Depending on your use they seem to have very low adhesion so in certain scenarios they can fall off the item being applied to while you are trying to install it

If you are having blue screening issues it could be due to your laptop running too hot
