These ice packs work awesome. I’m ordering 9 more of them todsy if that tells you anything. Highly recommended by me and cr.

No more freezing up block ice for the next day. Fits in the rtic30 soft pack with room to spare.

For the longer trips i think it would be important to have a stop where you can refreeze the packs and transfer goods into a fridge for a few days. The 5lb. Cooler keeps my lunch and snack cool.

Cons

They do not retain there frozen state for any beneficial period of time. They are dead weight and space consuming objects.
