Pros & Cons
Pros
It takes the recoil just fine. The hex-head bolts are far superior to the screwdriver slots offered on some of the other mounts at this price point. Just the right height for mounting my scope on my rifle.
Quality burris mount. Made much better than the nikon. I have every expectation that this mount will perform very well.
Cons
Burris ar-pepr is my least favorite and heaviest. I have a rail that has 2 grooves but they're spaced too far apart for the fixed lugs on this unit to mount on my rail.
Highlights
Quality
Quality product that does that it should
Burris quality this ar mount is perfect
I had assumed that burris was us made product
Price
Price was less than the original website and thats a good thing
Competitiveness
Worked perfectly for a vortex crossfire ii 39 x40 on a mp15 with mbus rear sight left just enough room for a monstrum flipup cover
Just as good as the more expensive brands
With a warrenty like that it should keep a decent resell value compared to products lacking a warrenty
In this case i put a weaver tseries scope into the mount and then mounted it up on an ar10

I would suggest that one put just a really small dot of lock tight on each of the screws and be absolutely cognizant of torque specifications
