Pros

Mains-power only somewhat restricts the unit’s out-of-the-box usability. Spare batteries are inexpensive. Wish it came with a battery. It runs several hours with sony np550 batteries. Also, being able to use sony batteries is what sold me.

When attached to the camera via the hdmi cable and the a/v input set appropriately, it displays what ever the camera’s rear screen would display.

Cons

Hot-shoe ball mount is junk! Would not cinch up. It comes with no battery.

The image quality is pixelated compared to on camera screen but this is really just meant for framing your shots

Image quality crushes the blacks and isnt 100 accurate but its not terrible

Just took delivery and right out of the box the image flickered and at times went completely off then would flash back on
