It fits over the top and covers the side with a hole in the bottom so that the pulse technology can work properly

He hasnt dropped it so no advice on whether it holds up to a floor but he has rubbed up against a few things that could have scratched the screen and the protector did its job superbly

The only thing is that it makes your iphone looks much bigger but its okay for me
