It has plenty of features and has a great quality look and feel to it
Ive been a serious amateur photographer for many years and started with the minolta xseries 35 mm cameras back in the mid 80s
Dont spend your time saving for a high end brand name like i did when the aperlite can do the job for less the price

Works great on my sl1 with eneloops batteries to get more shots
There is also a white card built in to use as a defuser

With grandchildren now im shooting a lot of indoor photos with flash and ill take the time to put this flash on the camera rather than use the builtin flash every time

Even for photographers that only use manual mode the aperlite 500 gives photographers full control for manual settings
