The fit with the lens hood is snug but not difficult to zip up the zipper at all but youre not going to get anything else in there other than the camera strap

Theres room for sd cards on the inside of the flap but no room on the bag for any chargers although you might be able to fit something very small in the front zipper

Should protect the camera well on normal bumping that may occur on a hike or backpacking trip

Anything longer would not fit well and you can only fit once lens

I have my cannon rebel sl1 in it and fit is tight with the strap hanging out

Obviously there is no room for lenses but to the somewhat inexperienced photographers like us that didnt matter at all

The zipper sometimes catches when going around the corner which is the only reason i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars
