Pros

I really like the foot print, it's not a small item. The power brick is huge but i was gladly able to make it fit.

This powered hub means that you do not need to be concerned about plugging in appliances like usb fans. I have a lot of devices that needs to be plugged in. Bought this to give me more options with a recently purchased laptop.

Has your fancy motherboard with all its i/o glory come up short? It is somewhat bulky but you will get the ports that you will need. Plenty of ports for all my devices at a great price.

Cons

When i use my phone charger at 30% (same cable) it only takes 1. Also, the lights on it are very bright. Then it overloads the usb port. Why is the cord a foot shortener than the power cord?

Unplugged everything and tried rebooting. This does great for powering devices, but is almost worthless for transferring data. Plugging in additional devices causes other connections to drop.

The new one is no better. Boo boo.
