Excellent product, supplied as described. Well worth the price. My only regret is that i didn't purchase it sooner!
The pump sometimes gets a little finicky when you're trying to set airflow. When you reboot it you have to crank it up again. Vacuum pickup works as intended, though it's kind of too big for small components.
It heats up very quickly and puts out a good amount of airflow. Initial temperature calibration is needed.
There is a shipping screw on the underside of the unit that must be removed before use. The soldering iron has a black protective cover installed on the tip.
Cons
The soldering iron would not heat up at all. Not err or pen warnings even. It heats very inconsistently, can't functionally maintain temperature, and often can't even melt solder.
Right there unpacking turned into repacking for a return. Item was listed as 110v version & came with 110v plug, yet is very clearly labeled both externally and internally as the 220v version.

Excellent machine does everything advertised and then some
Soldering pencil unit failed this weekend after 5 or 6 joints
Straightening out the kink restored proper airflow the ball now reaches the top at full air

For the money this is an excellent station
Fantastic deal for a decent allpurpose home station
It heats it blows it soders it vapes it bakes it melts it cuts its the closest thing to a light saber you can own for under 200
This is a stellar product for the price

I havent yet used the desoldering gun but soon will and the 968a i received this week and put it through its paces

On my unit the shipping screw was covered with a red circle sticker indicating that it is the screw to remove
Packaging/appearance
I bought an amazon openbox special and it arrived with the suction hose for the fume extractor completely blocked
The newer model i received had so many great accessories a really nice package with everything you need except solder
Or so assembling the iron stand and unpacking the unit
Competitiveness
They also sell replacement heating elements for both the hot air gun and the soldering iron
Definitely comparable to the metcal im used to at work
Professionally i used to use metcal and hakko stuff and while this is certainly less pro its 100 okay for me

You can remove the metal tube at the tip but not the plastic chunk on the irons handle itself

I also wish you could completely turn off airflow when the gun is heated though because when i set it down but leave it on because i will need it again in a few seconds it blows hot air directly at my wall this can be resolved by putting a heat resistant cover up or storing the air gun somewhere else but i do wish i could turn it off and keep it heated although that likely isnt an option due to some thermal balancing or something with how the gun functions so its understandable

The general build quality of the machine is good the hoses are okay the ergonomics are okay
