Performance is better than what my wife currently needs so that box is ticked. Very well priced within the range and compared to competitors. Super fast and amazing internet speeds and general use. Can't recommend enough for the £200 mark.

Motherboard comes with 4 black usb 2. Ports and 2 red usb ports. Put the usb in the marked slot and power up the board.
Cons
Since installation it consistently loses bios settings and has to be reset. Updating the bios is always a fraught, difficult process, so it is a shame most users will have to do this.
This is really unacceptable for this manufacturer. I may have drawn the short straw with this board and got the worst of a bunch.

Competitiveness
Bought this with a ryzen 3 3100 and going to upgrade to the 5000 series
One of the best x570 boards out there and at a great price
I knew since the motherboard socket didnt change it wont be compatible with ryzen 9 5xxx series cpus
Despite the above i wouldnt be tempted to spend more on an x570 motherboard unless i really needed to

I had to perform a qflash bios update on this board which is done by just adding a psu changing the name on the bios file to gigabyte

My 1st elite board had protected itself well from a faulty graphics card destroying itself the motherboard protected itself from it with the 3beeps from the speaker would not even light up with the faulty gpu installed gtx 980
