Pros
It's very quiet, so doesn't create a nuisance in the kitchen. Only complaint is that the power plug came out when i unplugged it from the power adapter. Works great but is kind of noisy.
Cons
The product also seems way overpriced for what it is. The magnet is very weak and the stir bar will bounce off very easily. I file this one under time-wasting junk; which is worse than plain junk.
It will be sent back for a refund. Attempting to contact seller but don't have much hope of satisfaction. The failure is misleading.

Everything feels high quality and the knob operation is super smooth

The last two times that i tried to use it the magnet would not stay in the center for more than a few seconds
I can only get the dial to just about half way or else the magnetic stirer will slid off to the side of the bottom of the jar

For the cost this stir plate is great
And you cannot beat the price on these
The price was right for someone like myself who isnt going to use it every day

For vegetable glycerin and thick liquids mixtures just go for the version with the heating feature since vg as other thick liquids tends to thin out in heat
