Pros & Cons
Pros
Work good for mild steel and softer. Check this out on any of the machinist forums. Used to make steel mandrels for wood lathe. Remember to use lubricant when drilling metals.
Estrellas. Cut cleanly with cutting oil and moderate pressure on the quill.
Cons
These are junk. Anytime (tool brand name) means they go dull any time in the first two minutes. Just stick with the us made center drills and be done with it.
Highlights
Competitiveness
For the price it is a nobrainer

If i get a larger lathe or mill and start working with harder material i will probably need a better grade of drill bit
