Pros & Cons
Pros
The hook is perfect, sturdy and compact when folded together. I like the fact that it collapses and is portable. Being stainless steel is another plus.
The grapple is very solid and it has some weight to it. This is for adults who want to feel like batman now and then. This works very well to haul in sticks, brush and logs. Never owned a grappling hook before.
Cons
The screw that is supposed to be employed to open the hook is impossibly tight. The grappling hook was stuck in the closed position and useless. It looks like there was a defect or flaw in the rope and was attempted to be repaired.

Rope is much higher quality than expected and the knot securing the grappling hook is trustworthy
Both times it came down very hard with the tree and got smashed into the ground but didnt get damaged
Packaging/appearance
Was easy to grab limbs and pull to shore
Competitiveness
That is fiction and not how it should be used in the real world
You might consider buying a separate carabiner thats the piece that might stress holding a 250lb man
