Oh these charge cords are very well worth the money even with a loosened smartphone connector works

It usually stays connected but i have had to reposition it a couple of times because the connection was lost

The result was that all charging stopped through the connector basically disconnect it and it was just running off the internal battery

I switched to charging through the supplied apple usbc cable not using this adapter and it was able to both power the machine through the adapter as well as charge the battery albeit slowly
