Pros
Build quality is nice and solid. It works as advertised. This one has a trusted brand and a premium feel to it. All ports work and i stress tested it with all ports occupied at the same time.
Cons
Only one port can be used for charging. The usb c is literally a replication, so unless you want a $45 1 inch extender, dont purchase this for 4k 60hz purposes. It says on the description that it's a dual display, but that is not the case.
Returning this unit tonight. At the same time, it's obvious i got a used item. Don't waste your money here.
For me this is not acceptable. I'm baffled. Such an interruption is inexcusable, and makes for a near-unusable product.

The one huge issue i had with this specific hub is that it takes up both of your usbc macbook ports but only provides power60hz display compatibility through one port on the hub

Im returning this for another single usbc hub so that i dont lose functionality of both factory usbc ports on my macbook

I have not done any performance tests of the usb3 ports to ensure they perform at capacity but they dont appear to be running abnormally slow so i suspect they run close enough to usb3 speeds that i cant notice anything off with regular usage which is good enough for me

It will drive a 2k monitor at full 60hz however which is what i have as my main monitor
