Very light but very sturdy have tested using my external hard drive with crystaldiskmark here are my findings if anyone was wondering the samereadwriterear usb port 131 mbs 92 mbsanker hub no other devices connected 126 mbs 83 mbsanker hub with wifi adapter and ipad charger attached 61 mbs 54 mbshope this helps someone
