I purchased one of these in 2015 so im not sure about the new version if it is a new version or not

So far its working just fine although is very noisy and the replacement gets very super hot meaning that you have to by one more replacement at least if you dont want to burn your pet

I havent used it on my dachshundpoodle mix yet but when i removed the trimmer out of the package i noticed the snapon front guard doesnt properly fit the trimmer body leaving a rather large gap on one side see pictures

I feel this is due either to poor design in the manufacturing tolerances of the mold or poor quality assurance during assembly
