As the description states it has an aluminum constructed frame covered with a poylcarbonate type shell which makes it extremely lightweight
Currently i cant speak to its longevity since i have only owned it for 2 short weeks but i can say its easily as well constructed as my previous coleman 21 carryon that has endured cross continental travel for the past 7 years
