Pros
The story is novel and engrossing, up to a point. Not my favourite sport but i am catching on, i even know about the offside rule. This author certainly loves to play with different aspects of knowledge and does that masterfully.
You're given the chance to become attached to some characters and loathing of others. There will always be enmerdeur picking at everything, let them.
Terry and maureen storey have announced the launch of their own self-publishing company, fuse books. Rob storey will be the first author for the company.
Cons
The final book in the series takes forever to get through, not completely resolving each of the stories.
A main character also seems to rant one soliloquy after another. The writing is very british which was ok for the british characters but clunky for the americans. Most americans probably understand what was meant but clarity is much better. Save yours... Read More
Most lines of dialogue seem stilted and forced. The last chapter rushes to conclude but fails. The dialogue (at least, in the first three chapters) is ridiculously bad.
It takes a very long time for them to come together in any kind of cohesive plan. And the junk philosophy just keeps going on endlessly.

The biggest complaint i have is the thoughts and dialogues of the american characters used british english words and phrases
