I'm sure this is a book i will continue to go back to as i progress with the drums; and i know my wrists and neck will thank me for it.
The illustrations seem to integrate better with the text.
I would like more advice on practical implementation of good posture and technique and will plan to follow up with the author for a lesson.

I give it 4 stars instead of 5 only because the book did let me down in that it seemed to give the anatomical details but did not consistently describe how to optimize drumming technique in light of those details.

It inspired me to pursue my alexander technique classes as well as reconsider the ways i move in the world, not just via drumming.

I had many doubts in terms of the ergonomics of the drum set and couldn't find anyone that could explain to me how to position the drum set in a way that seems natural.

This was a sobering lesson that drums can be, just like anything repetitive, dangerous to the body if the positioning of our limbs and use of our body is improper.
